God is Great

This journey isn't quite over just yet, but we made it through surgery and as of now everything seems to be going great; so for that I am very grateful and blessed!!

This morning was extremely hard; I held it together though, partly because I knew if I broke down she would...I haven't cried once today, arn't ya'll proud?? :) I had tons of family and friends keeping me company today and keeping my mind off of things. Like "A" mentioned the Dr. said he was able to coil the aneurysm and is felt everything went well. We won't know for sure until she fully wakes up and they can examine her if she had any damages done to her brain or vision; but as of now it looks great--THANK GOD!

Right now she is in the ICU, and she is in alot of pain. The ICU nurse asked us all to leave until 5:00 so that they could try to calm her down, as she was in severe pain and trying to move, which is something she is not supposed to do right now. She is supposed to lay completely still for a few hours...hopefully when we go back at 5 she will be a little more coherent.

I will let you know how things go and I will keep everyone updated. THANK YOU ALL for the prayers, the messages, comments and emails today. I can't begin to tell you how much it means to me!!!! I know I say it often, but you all are truly amazing!!!!

I am about to take me a quick nap, then head back up to the hospital around 4:30...

Thank you again and God Bless!

I'm so relieved for you to hear she got through the surgery well! I know she still has a long way to go but it sounds like she's off to a good start. I hope the nurses are able to give her something for the pain so she can get some rest and focus on recovering.

Girl, I know this is such a relief. I pray that everything continues to go well. You really have an amazing faith that I wish I had a tenth of, it has taken you a long way. Keep on trusting in God like you do and pray that the rest of us someday find the kind of relationship with God that you certainly seem to have. God bless you and your family!!
