Falling...into place!

When things don't happen the way they are supposed to and it seems as though your world is crashing down it's very easy to lose hope.

but...everything will fall into place....

It's easy to get discouraged after numerous amounts of negative pregnancy test, yearning for that one day that you see a positive...but feeling like it will never come.

but...everything will fall into place....

There are days when you find out five friends are pregnant...and the majority weren't trying or didn't try for long, it seems impossible to go a day without seeing someone pregnant and you just want to crawl in bed and hibernate...

but...everything will fall into place....

There are somethings in life that no one can explain--only God holds those answers! We have to trust in God that one day, 'everything will fall into place'!!

Infertility is a huge 'fall'....straight down the steepest mountain, it feels as though you were pushed and now you're plummeting to the bottom with no safety net or parachute!! When will your fall stop? Only God knows! But; you can bet with God by your side carrying you under his wing you will not be crashing this time; in fact with him by your side...everything will fall into place!

"Eventually all things fall into place. Until then, laugh at the confusion, live for the moments, and know everything happens for a reason."

Whose Fault is it?

I was talking to someone the other day...they asked us about children and me, being who I am, openly informed them of our infertility. There immediate response was 'whose fault is it?'

Yes...this may seem insensitive and to be honest it is. However in the world of infertility you learn to handle insensitive comments with a grain of salt. Yes, sure-they still hurt and yes some are quite annoying; however the 'average' person doesn't know what to say nor do they realize the things that are said can be hurtful...

We have received a lot of comments; 'Whose fault is it?' seems to be a very popular one.

It's easy to put the blame on me...or my's easy to tell people 'Well my husband has a low % of normal sperm'....and it's easy for Zach to say 'my wife has PCOS...and tons of other issues'; however we believe it's neither of our faults. YES-our bodies are far from normal, and YES we are very far from 'fertile mertiles'---some might call us naive but we like to think that this is God's plan and no one is 'at fault' for this.

Placing blame on each other can cause resentment, guilt and extremely hurt feelings! Infertility is OUR life...not his, not mine....OURS.

1 Corinthians 12:24-26 God has combined the members of the body and has given greater honor to the parts that lack it, so that there should be no division in the body, but that it's parts should have equal concern for each other. If one part suffers, every part suffers with it; if one part is honored, every part rejoices with it.

Well....this 'fatigue thing' that everyone has been telling me about that happens towards the end of the flu--IS HERE. I feel like this cat...minus the fur, whiskers and sleeping in a cat bed, although if I could fit in a cat bed I'm sure I would be more than comfy in there...I catch myself rolling off the bed and couch when I am sleeping. I haven't been able to sleep well since I've come down with the flu and I am actually able to sleep now...ALOT!!

I am so 'BLAH'....and don't feel like doing anything!!! ANYTHING!

I have actually been feeling worse this morning than yesterday---no fun! And due to not eating hardly anything in the last couple days I've also lost some weight...(not complaining about this one though!)...Don't worry I've been drinking my electrolytes! My poor voice is shot!!! I don't know if it's from coughing or what, but it's hardly there...I really sound like an old man! (not funny)

This flu thing really kicked my butt and threw me for a loop and I hope it is almost gone!!! I'm ready to be 'me' again!!!

Guess who has the flu....

I've never had the flu before...not fun!

I woke up early Monday morning sick as a dog, I called in sick to work however couldn't get into the Dr. till today (I guess everyone in my town was sick as well, because they were all booked up)...

My fever has been ranging between whole body has been aching, I have cold chills and I don't want to even look at food....

This morning I woke up still feeling the same way, I went to work hoping I could get through the day...needless to say I didn't make it very long! I went to the Dr. this morning...she mentioned right away that she thought I had the flu...after testing me and 20 minutes later she walked in and said "Guess who has the flu"...

She wants me to stay home the rest of the week, however I really can't do that--I need to be at work, so I'm free to go back to work once I am 24 hours free of fever.

Please pray I get well soon!!!!!

A Helping Hand...

So just call on me brother, when you need a hand….

We all need somebody to lean Stand on….

I just might have a problem that you'd understand…

We all need somebody to lean Stand on….

I've been helping Ashley over the past few weekends redo her little girls room; the last step was something neither of us could 'reach' who better to call on then the guys!!

Me & Allergies .... NO GOOD!

The other night I started sneezing up a storm!! I have bad allergies, but normally it's the weather that makes them go crazy. They were calling for rain in the the forecast so I am assuming it's the lovely weather that's brought all the allergies on me all of the sudden.....

Well....I thought 'sneezing' would be my only problem...

WRONG!!!! BIG time wrong in fact!

I woke up the other morning with my eyes swollen shut, not a pretty picture---in fact I probably could have scared my husband if he could have seen me. (By the way I did take a picture with intentions of posting it, but decided I didn't want to scare y'all away--or bother the squeamish, so I decided on my lovely cartoon on the side instead...nice me, huh?)

So back to my ever so lovely swollen eyes--

picture this--

I wake up, can't open I stumble to the rest room feeling my poofy eyes (knowing exactly what has happened)--convincing myself it isn't that bad I pry my eye open so I can see myself in the mirror....BAD! I looked like I gained 20lbs just in my eye lids... (can you see why I choose not to upload the picture?) I stumble to the kitchen to get my eye-ice pack out of the fridge-almost knocking over the orange juice (or milk--I couldn't see), now I head to the bedroom to find my phone so I can call in sick (I obviously don't need to be driving to work with my eyes swollen shut...if I'm knocking over stuff in the fridge I can only imagine what I will do on the road!) Well, I realize I don't have my boss's phone number memorized, I need to pry my little eye open again so I can look up the number--pathetic I tell ya!

After a good few hours of sleeping I was able to somewhat open them...can I just tell you I am VERY thankful for my sight (and for my toes...I pretty much stumped every one of them!)

I am proud to say I have lost those 20lbs I've gained in my if I could just figure out how to loss it that quickly in my waist?!

Baby 'Sprinkle'

One of my best friends, Ashley, is 34 weeks pregnant with another precious little girl! I am extremely happy for her and can't wait to meet this sweet angel.

I decided to throw her a little 'something' in celebration for her new little one, however she doesn't really need to much of anything since she still has a lot left after having 2 girls already, however every pregnancy deserves a celebration--right?

Well, I was talking about this with another one of my best friends-Rosemary, and she mentioned that I look up a 'sprinkle'. After reading up on it, I had to do this! It's the neatest little idea!

A sprinkle is for your 2nd, 3rd...child, esp. if you are having the same gender, it's not as 'big' as a shower, but still equally important. Click here to read more about sprinkles.

Have any of y'all heard of 'sprinkles'???

ON NO!!!!!!

How can this be?

It’s totally unacceptable!

I’m so young! Well…sorta! (I like to think so anyways)

Could this really be happening?

I have another gray hair!!!! :(

What is wrong—where do these pesky little hairs keep coming from. Is infertility turning me into a gray fragile old women?! Ok…not really fragile, and not too old…but a gray women!?

They say not to pull them, but can I really just leave this straggly little hair sitting on the top of my hair staring at me every morning in the mirror?! I THINK NOT! So what did I do…I pulled that sucker out!

This isn’t my first gray hair, and I doubt it will be my last—how I wish it would be though!

Darn them little gray hairs!!!!
