Fertility Stone Necklace

Have any of you heard of this?? There are many different types and looks...

I am not one to really believe in myths…however after trying to conceive for almost 4 years I'm guilty of trying lots and read up on every single myth I possibly could.

The below story is too neat (and special to me) not to share on my blog…

I will probably tell this story wrong, so in order for me to not fib I will just say this necklace went from family to family up in PA—each family being one that had a hard time conceiving and once they received this necklace and either placed it under there pillow, wore it, or just had it in there possession became pregnant shortly after receiving it. It was either one of Zach’s family members stone to begin with or she was given it through her journey TTC, after having the stone she had 2 boys almost back to back after struggling to conceive for awhile…she later gave the stone to someone else and shortly after they were pregnant too…and the passing of the stone goes on and on…

Well, about a year ago—if not longer she began trying to locate the stone to see who had it now in order to try to get it back to give to me. She found it! And I was given this necklace up in PA during our Christmas vacation.

Will having this stone in my possession work for me? Only God knows when!!! But you can count on that during certain times of the month this necklace will be extremely close to me :)

I am guilty of tons of little things pertaining to ‘luck’ from time to time…but in reality we all know that God is the only one in control and when it’s our time we will be blessed in one way or another! However, I am very thankful for my necklace and will cherish it while it’s in my hands, and who knows what it will bring me :)

My question to all my infertility blog readers…lurkers you must answer too…What have you done or read about throughout this journey to hopefully give you ‘luck’?! I know many of you have emailed me with funny stories and even some that have brought you success with your baby(s)…I look forward to hearing many more!

I have a charm from James Avery that says "expect a miracle." I LOVE it! I dont "believe" in luck...but sometimes I need that tangible thing to hold onto!! When I DO have babies (and I will) I will just add heart shaped charms w/ thier names to the necklace!

I like to think that it will happen when I least expect it - like right before starting an IVF cycle or right after a failed one. I hope this special necklace brings you the luck you have waited so long for!

did a fertility dance and taped it for all to see. it was spontaneous.

burned sage and incense to rid my house of negative energy.

prayed, lit candles, did novenas.

fertility yoga and tea.

put a dragon on husband's side of the bed.

painted two walls in our bedroom red.

the list goes on.

I've got nothing... Well. No success stories anyway.

I have looked into the whole lunar thing. Positive "sperm meets and fertilizes egg" imagery... hahaha! Nothing. Nada.

But none the less, that's a beautiful stone! :-)

I am nowhere near trying to have a child... I am not even married. However, knowing that it is all on God's timing and it will happen when he is ready is so true. It is so easy to lose faith when struggling with something like this, but without Him the journey will be even more difficult!

Very cool. I pray it works for you!

I have a friend {also named Megan} that "loaned" me a necklace of a kokopelli (sp?) because it had had the same effect you are talking about on her family/friends. It still hangs on my bed, but hasn't done it's job. haha! Once upon a time I also had some other little "coins" that someone had made me. There was 5 of them and they said things like 'love', 'baby', and I can't remember what else now. I know one broke and the others are tucked away somewhere. I took them with me when I had my IUI's and they didn't do their job either. Oh well. It IS all in God's hands as much as we want to rely on material things. =)

I am praying that this fertility necklace is the answer to your prayers! Nothing wrong with going on luck. I pray for you and your sweet hubby everyday that God will bless your sweet family with a little bundle of joy!

I bought an infertility awareness necklace made by another woman going through IF that I wore nonstop through my treatments, and I wore my "lucky socks" that had lucky charms and said "lucky socks" to my retrieval and transfer. I knew it was all in God's hands, but it was just something fun to do.

No charms or anything. But I do hope that this stone continues its good will. The only thing my husband and I do is talk about the kids we want (yes, we have names already). I also pray daily and try to focus on other aspects of my life. I am also doing the working on my health (working out and eating better) because I know it will help me out. I know God is in control and I trust him 100%. I know I will have a child when the time is right and so will you!

Good luck and you are always in my prayers.

Hmmm. Are there any myths/superstitions to catch a husband? If there are, I'll do 'em!

Have you ever tried Accupuncture for infertility? There are accupuncturist that specialize in hormone balancing/infertility. It's not that expensive (at least compared to IVF)... and if it could help...

I LOVE this! So neat!!
I don't think I told you, but I kept a fortune from a fortune cookie in my wallet forever! I just recently took it out but it's under the glass in my desk now so I can still see it. It says, "you will expect a miracle very soon'

Remember How they say it's in the water... Well I took that all the way. I would ask all my friends who were preggers if they were thirsty for some water.. Or have them drink half of a h2o bottle and the rest was for me...LOL...Five pregnancies later, 2 resulting in my sweet babies... I still believe it is in the water. And the best part... It only takes about one month to work....(right!)
