Zach asked me last night what I wanted for my birthday!! I don’t know?! I can’t think of anything!!
I guess there’s a couple little things I would like…but nothing to big!
It seems like the older I get, the more I ‘just don’t know’ what to ask for! I guess he is all on his own this year…because I really don’t know.
When I told him ‘I don’t know, I don’t really need anything’ he crinkled his nose up at me and said “well I guess I’ll have to use my imagination”….OH Goodness! This could be good or bad!!!
So QUESTION: What is your all time favorite birthday present that you have received or your favorite thing about your birthday?
Mine would be the little things…I love the birthday wishes from family and friends, the flowers my mom and husband send to my work and the birthday dinner dates.

I LOVE getting flowers at work! This year, I'd love a gym membership (but you already have that) :)
That's a tough question to answer. I like your list of "the little things." Another thing I love is how special my kids make it by being all excited about getting to celebrate a birthday. That to me, is even more special than a "real" birthday present! :)
I'm with you - my husband asked me what I wanted for my birthday in February and I told him I wanted to get a custom domain for my blog. He asked how much it cost and I told him $10 a year - he said, "that's cheap, just get it now" - I told him that wasn't the point!! It's really the little things I love - getting pampered, feeling surrounded by people I love, etc. But they are BIG things to me!!
It’s so funny how birthdays change as you get older. When you’re young you can ALWAYS find something to ask for but seems when you get older the question “what do you want for you birthday?” leaves you stumped, ha!
Definitely a spa gift certificate to get a massage & facial! Happy Birthday!
BTW, I am blogging tp help others through TTC/infertility, and I just added you on. I hope you can come by and check it out! ~mymiracles77 http://stressfreeinfertilityblog.com
Tell him you want him to take you on a trip. OR to buy you the stuff you won't ever buy yourself. Even if it's a new washer! LOL. I always go for practical stuff. D always surprises me w/pampering and of course that NEVER gets old!
Can't wait to see what your honey comes up with! :) My favorite part is seeing what Josh does- he is amazing at fun birthday surprises!
I never know how to answer the "what do you want?" question either. I'm like you, it's the little things that make me happy! How about this- hubby cooks dinner (and cleans up), watch a chick flik or good t.v. show, choc. covered strawberries and a nice, long back & foot rub!!
For my 16th birthday, my now hubby got me a locket with both of our pictures in it, I treasure that!!
I told David the same thing for my bday a few wks ago. I honestly didnt want anything for Christmas this year either. He did pretty good on his own!
