Ask and Tell

I’ve recieved quite a few emails lately with questions regarding several things (infertility, faith, where we are in life...etc)…I thought this would be a great opportunity to do another Q and A…if you have any questions feel free to ask now :)

I have done a few Q and A’s in the past, and Zach’s even done one…however new questions always arise and this is a great time to get to know us even better :)

I have a couple questions for each of y’all so I can get to know each one of y'all even better …(no lurkers this time; I’d like to see everyone’s answer even if you don’t have a question for me feel free to comment)…

‘Tell me a little about yourself…’

‘Where are you from?’

‘How did you find my blog?’
I will be posting the answers to all of your questions probably next week... :)

I'll have to think on the questions. I live in Texas and teach kindergarten. I've lived her almost 3 years and love it. I moved here from Michigan. My husband and I have been TTC for 2.5 years. I found your blog through another TTC blog, but can't remember which one. I really enjoy reading your blog!

I am a 29 year old living in Tyler, Texas. I am currently attending college (finally finishing what I started years ago) and working full-time. My husband and I celebrate our 7th anniversary in 14 days. I was passed along the link to your blog from another but for the life of me I cannot remember which one. Your story touched me and I keep you and Zach in my prayers. The love of a child is a blessing and I hurt for those that experience difficult journey while trying.

Hi Tiffany!

A little about me... I am a 21 year old college student who is currently studying to become an elementary teacher. I will graduate May 2011 and cannot wait to have my own classroom. I am from Fredericksburg, TX and love it here. I have recently been diagnosed with PCOS and have been told that I will most likely have infertility problems when I get to that point in my life. Your story is amazing and I know that God will one day bless you with the glorious gift of a child, we just have to trust Him and His timing. I do not remember how I came across your blog but I am so grateful that I did!

Hope you have a wonderful week!
Katie

This is a great idea!
I grew up in Arkansas. I lived there with my mom and dad until July 9, 2005. That's the day I married my husband (also named Zach). His name is Zachariah but he goes by Zach. We lived in Broken Arrow, OK until July 18, 2009. That day, we moved in with his parents until December 18th 2009. That's the day we bought our new much bigger house. We have a 2 year old daughter. I fear she may be our only one since I have a lot of fertility issues. (I know you already know most of this but just in case someone else from your blog decides to mosey over to my blog, I thought I'd share). Bailey is the love of my and Zach's life! She is almost perfect in every way! I found you when I was 11 weeks pregnant on the "I-am-pregnant" website. You were "semi-famous" on the ttc page. I was drawn to you, to pray for you! At that point, it was still so fresh on my mind how long I had wanted a baby and how hard I knew it was to wait so long! I still pray for you! In my heart, I know God has spoken to me that you will have a baby! I only hope it is sooner than later! Love you girly!

Hey Tiffany! I have been following your blog for a while. I don't remember how I found it. Probably was on the sidebar of someone elses blog!? I am from Frankfort, KY, but I now live in Northern KY with my hubby of almost two years. We don't have any kids yet, nor have we started trying yet. We have some fish (not really by choice...there is an aquarium built in to the bar in our basement..it would look lonely with no fish in it!) I think you and your husband are absolutely precious and I love reading about your journey. Hmmm...as for a question for you....what is your favorite family/childhood memory? I know family is important to you (as it is to me as well), so this will hopefully be fun for you to answer!

Hey Tiffany! I learned about your blog from Veronica. I live in Baytown, TX and have 3 little girls and although I don't know what it's like to struggle with infertility, my life was forever blessed when I was adopted by my parents, who struggled with infertility and miscarriage. I have a passion for adoption, and hope to adopt one day too. I pray for you whenever I think of you, because I have absolute faith that the Lord will answer our prayers and you will be a Mom one day!!

I'm from Ohio, and love it here! I love the change of seasons, even though this season called winter is getting really old!

I found your blog over a year ago, as I had begun to read some blogs for support with our infertility. Soon after that I started my own blog, and have loved this community and the support. You and I have been TTC for almost the same amount of time, and I see so many emotions that you are going through that I feel as well. I have loved to follow you as we both go through this journey. I just hope that it will make us both stronger, which I think it has already.

My question for you is:

I know that I have probably read the answer to this somewhere on your blog before, but I cannot remember.

When did you realize that something was wrong. As far as your infertility. Did you have things that happened before you started TTC? You do not need to go into detail about any of this. I was just curious. Thanks!

I am from Florida and found you about a year ago? Maybe more than that. We are the same age and I too have PCOS and had to do IVF. I know what emotions you are going through and it just amazes me your strength and faith in Him.

My question for you is what religion are you (besides just Christian) and how do you stay so strong through this hard time?

I wanted to tell you that I did IVF (I too have PCOS) and after the first round I got pregnant with twins! I had a hard time with IVF as I have PCOS really bad apparently. My husband has dented sperm so we had to do ICSI as well. So I do pray that IVF works for you!

I really do pray for you and your husband to have that family some day.

Hey Tiffany!!

I am 25 years old and I live in Atlanta and I'm less than 100 days from being handed my precious Masters (YAY!!). I'm on track for ordination, so I am hoping to take part in a two month chaplaincy program this summer and then will start looking for church jobs - so who knows where I will end up!!

I found your blog ... hmm ... through Veronica's? I think. But you were so genuine in how you talked about your faith and your struggles and I couldn't help but follow along.

Can't wait to see the Q&A!!

Hello. I think this is the first time I have commented, although I do keep up on your blog.

My name is Jen. My husband had cancer, and had to undergo chemo and radiation therapy. He froze his sperm so he could have kids one day. Then I found out I had tumors on my uterus, which required surgery, before we could proceed with IVF.

Our first IVF was successful with twin girls.

They were born at 23 weeks and spent 5 months in the NICU at Childrens Hospital.

I don't remember how I found your blog, but people who are TTC or have micro-preemie's really hold a special place to me.

My question is, how did you start blogging? Did you think your blog would become so big?

Definitely praying for you guys!!
