Since it’s about to be summer and everyone is about to start taking/planning vacations I thought it would be a great idea to list some of the places I’ve been and some of the places I would love to go…

You have been to some amazing places!! We went to Niagara Falls a year ago, and we loved every single minute of it!! I also would love to go to Hawaii soon!!!
Hmm lets see. Well I've been to Breckenridge & Vegas alot. Been to DC & going again this June..honeymooned at Atlantis Paradise Island-nothing in the world like it!! Been to Ocho Rios Jamaica..cruise to the US Virgin Islands & drove to Nashville Ten!! Im dying to get to NYC and just the east coast in general!
We always end up at Disneyland for the kids... or Stanford for heart stuff
with Owen. We honeymooned in Vegas, but I was too young to play any games. :( Someday... we'll take an amazing vacation.. just the two of us. But then again... I'll probably get pregnant in another EIGHT years and we'll start all over with little ones. ;) I am the type of mom that has the hardest time leaving my kiddos. Especially Owen now.
We have had some great vacations.
Dec 2004 - Hawaii at Christmas with the WHOLE family
June 2005 - Disneyland with my parent's
July 2007 - Orcas Island off the coast of Washington for a 85th birthday
April 2007-April present - Every April we head off to Phoenix for a weekend of Nascar racing
For our honeymoon we went to Myrtle Beach, and we went back almost every year since. We also like to go to Gatlinburg, TN and rent a cabin in the fall or in January or early spring...we really like to go anytime but the middle of summer. THis year we are doing something new for vacation and are going to a state park to camp for a week. I am really looking forward to it! I would like to go on a cruise to somewhere tropical, and I think I would like to go to Savannah, Ga sometime!
I would love to go to Myrtle Beach!!! I bet that is just beautiful!!!! Thank you for sharing :)
OH WOW--Hawaii for Christmas; I bet that was super nice!!!! Thanks for sharing!!
I can totally understand how it would be hard leaving your kids; esp. Owen! And it will not take you another 8 years; I have faith it won't take you long at all ;-) Love ya--thanks for sharing!!! :)
I love love to go to Atlantis; Zach and I were just talking about that the other night...oh and Jamaica!!!! You've been to some awesome places!!! I've never been to the east coast either....I'm so scared to go to NYC, after all I've heard about with tourist and whatnot and how tourist get mugged so easily, scares me...you go and tell me all about it first-ha!
I love Niagara Falls! It's so pretty!!!!! We need to plan a Hawaii trip together, haha!!
Girl, I am always telling people that if I could get paid to travel, I would pack my stuff and spend my life doing that. I love love love to travel and there are so many places I would love to go and I've been very blessed to already see so much!!!
Well I've certainly not had a privileged childhood & hadnt been on a real vacation before HS. I went to Disneyworld for my SR class trip before Graduation & it was awesome! I highly recommend getting park hoppers! Then David & I honeymooned in Atlantis in the Bahamas & I think it's honestly overpriced & over-rated! We had 100% better time in Orlando, FL at a resort-type hotel for a FRACTION of the cost! There's a great place there called Discovery Cove where we swam with dolphins & snorkeled-amazing! So there's still a lot of places I want to visit-San Francisco, NYC, Grand Canyon....I've never been skiing but it doesnt really interest me. I'm like you tho & get motion sick easily so I dont think I'll ever do a cruise! lol I cant wait for Rylie to get older & do family vacations with her!
oh & i'm not taking a stab at anybody by saying i didnt have a privileged childhood-i just seriously have so many friends who do vacations all the time, sometimes twice a year & they kinda talk down on me sometimes because i "havent done this or been there or seen that" so just saying...not everybody grew up traveling
