COVERGIRL LashPerfection Mascara

I have never been  big on caking on layers and layers of makeup. However I am defiantly one who wants to wear the basics before I step outside of the house and scare our neighbors at my zombie-ish looks!

Mascara is the #1 'must have' for me...my eyelashes are pencil straight without anything!! I have struggled with many name brands in mascara (from the most expensive to the least expensive)...I want you to be able to see my eyelashes, but no need to look like I have a tarantula living on my eye! However years ago when I was still in highschool I found that COVERGIRL mascara worked wonders for my straight eyelashes, it stayed on...no fading and no tarantula eyes for me! I have been a loyal customer for years it has seemed!

So I was beyond thrilled when BlogHer asked if I would consider a review for COVERGIRL LashPerfection™!

I received the COVERGIRL LashPerfection™ mascara in the mail the day before we were heading to a local event The Cattle Barrons Ball to see Dwight Yoakam, as I was a little nervous to try out a new mascara (even being it's from COVERGIRL) I decided to go for it!

Below is a picture of one of my best friends Ashley and I at the concert--I am loving the mascara!

My husband jokes around because I was so “addicted” to my other COVERGIRL mascara (and when I say addicted, I mean ADDICTED- -I didn't go a day without wearing it!) that I was a little unsure if I would be able to convert wholeheartedly to this new one... but I have used it every single day so far! It's absolutely amazing! In fact, Zach loves it much more because of how NATURAL it is! My eyelashes are 3x as long and voluminous as they were before.

COVERGIRL LashPerfection™ is so lightweight, I have received so many compliments throughout family and friends on how natural my eyelashes look. People are complimenting me on how long they are--the formula in this mascara is so lightweight that it provides luxurious volume that helps keep lashes feeling soft and lifted--you do not have to worry about flaking like most products--and it doesn't smear or smudge either!!

I personally think all the magic is in the brush!! It seems to capture just 'enough' mascara for your eyelashes, nothing more-nothing less!!!

What would the world be without products such as COVERGIRL LashPerfection™ to make a woman feel beautiful? While we’re on the subject of make-up and looking great, you might want to check out the “Looking Your Best” posts in the Life Well Lived section of BlogHer.com. There are some great application tips and ideas for switching up your look for fall!

Wow-your eyelashes look amazing, I'll have to try it! Does it come off easy?

A time when makeup gave me the confidence for an important event was at my SIL's wedding this past June. I'm not close with anyone in my husband's family and getting the perfect dress and makeup really was necessary for me to even have the confidence to "strut my stuff." I know it worked because people kept commenting on how great I looked :) (I of course didn't do the makeup...)

Thanks :)

I don't know if I've ever used makeup to add confidence (power from within ladies!), but I do love having long, dark sexy lashes to flash "the look" at my super cute hubs!

Makeup always makes me feel better and more confident! I am a fellow mascara junkie myself. Have never tired this one.

Thanks!

If I wear nothing else on my face, I try to wear mascara. It makes me look awake and polished!

I’m not a make up person and usually don’t wear any or have very light make ups on. When I attend my husband’s company dinner, I wanted to look my best for him and I put full make up on and I sure felt great and more confidence meeting his colleges for the first time. We both had a wonderful evening at the event.

That mascara seems to work very well! I don't wear makeup a lot, but when I do it sure gives me more confidence... Like if my husband I are going out on a date or something. chefl@swbell.net

I definitely needed makeup when I went to a job fair a few weeks back. I stressed so much the night before that I hardly slept. The makeup made me look alive :)

This is a fun giveaway, Tiff!

Hmmm....I've never been a big makeup wearer, but I think the time that makeup really made a difference for the way I felt about myself was on my wedding day. My sister did my makeup for me and when she was done, I looked in the mirror and was shocked I could look so pretty. I'm still not a big make up wearer but I love how it makes me feel better about me when I take the time to put even the basics on!

I shy away from a lot of makeup, especially lipstick, but on my wedding day when I was made up to the nines, including lots of lipstick, I never felt more beautiful or confident.

I had my makeup professionally done for my wedding and it helped make my day brighter and, since I cried all the way down the isle, I am glad they used waterproof makeup! LOL I knew I would cry a lot during the wedding, so that was one less thing to worry about!

After returning to the country from one year in Europe, I had to look for a job. I hadn't worn make up while overseas but I decided to put on my professional face and head with confidence into those job interviews. I was lucky enough to find a temporary placement that lead to a permanent job in my field.
