4/19/13

Will be the day we meet out baby boy!

I will be induced tomorrow. 36 weeks and 3 days. I have a significant amount of protein in my urine and my blood pressure is unsteady. We came to l&d Tuesday night because my BP was around 190/103, it leveled off around 150/90 but still remained high. So after being here for two nights my Dr decided that inducing is the best option.

I've been reassured by many that 36 week babies are normally very healthy. He isn't consider 'preterm' anymore, just 'near term'. However I would be lying if I said I wasn't nervous. His health is my priority, once I see he is ok I will be able to breath a sigh of relief.

All prayers are appreciated.

We've waited 7 years for this moment-hard to believe it will be here TOMORROW ❤

What amazing news! One day until you meet your baby boy! I have followed your journey for so long, and am going through a 9-year one myself - so seeing you come to the end of this long road with a sweet baby gives me hope! Good luck tomorrow!

Praying for you! L&D is "scary" no matter what week you are. My son was born at 35 weeks and didn't spend 1 second in NICU! Completely healthy just tiny. My daughter was 38weeks and was a meconium baby and had to observed for awhile...just never know what you are going to get full term or not! Take heart God is with you all. Praying for a safe and healthy delivery and recovery for you!!

So excited for you. Things will be fine. My boys were 30weeks and even though they spent 58 days in the NICU they are perfect.

Make sure you take time write down the days eevnets after you recovered a bit...you'll want to recall the day over and over....

I was induced for pre-eclampsia at 38 weeks and the ONE good thing about preeclamptics is that apparently they're easy to induce, the body's way of acknowledging that the placenta isn't working anymore they suspect. My induction worked beautifully, just some miso to ripen my cervix and I was in full on labor without the pitocin, abnormal for a 38 weeker. Hopefully your induction will also go smoothly! Good luck tomorrow!
