Houston We Have a Problem

When I got to the hospital at 5 for her visit, her boyfriend and I walked back to the room to see her; to our surprise she wasn't there. We tracked down some nurses and found out that she was having a catscan. The nurses explained she couldn't feel her right leg nor move it.The catscan didn't have anything abnormal appear on it, so they were going to wait for a neurologist to come in and examine her to see what he thought...as of now they said they believe she might just need some therapy and are not 100% sure what caused this, whether her leg is just extremely weak, whether they hit a little nerve, or exactly what. They mention possibly a nursing home for rehab if thats what needed to be done.

My mom is hysterical, she is scared. She doesn't like the fact that she can not move her right leg, nor the thought of going into a nursing home. I don't like the nursing home idea much myself, but I will take physical theraphy over anything else major.

Please keep my mother in your prayers, please pray for strength and that she will regain movement in her leg. We don't have definite answers yet, were hoping by tomorrow we will know a little more.

I told myself I would go to bed early tonight because I'm exhausted, but I am going up to see my mom, knowing she is sad and emotional is killing me. I just want her to be happy and feel normal.
