Family Updates
Zach and I- are doing good. Taking one day at a time and praying for God’s guidance.

Mom- My mom went to her Dr as she has been having some major pain. Her tumor in her brain has grown a little, although it’s still fairly small the Dr. believes it’s pushing on some nerves which is causing her to have bad headaches. However due to the location of the tumor, surgery is out of the question. They are monitoring her closely right now and mentioned ‘Gamma Knife Radiation’ in Dallas…this radiation treatment will help shrink the tumor since they are unable to remove it…I will keep y’all updated…thanks for all the prayers :)

News
We STILL don’t have my car and I am really beginning to miss it! We had to give our rental back last Thursday as we met our policy max (you can only have it for 30 days…)

Big events over the weekend…
Nothing big happened at all—Saturday I had to work all day due to month end closing, and Zach stayed home and did a lot of work around the house…Sunday I woke up sick as a dog. I don’t exactly know what was wrong but I was extremely nauseous with a pretty bad headache…I could hardly stand up without the urge to get sick…I managed to get some breakfast in me, but that’s all I ate throughout the day…around 2ish my whole body was wobblely and shaky…I had icepacks on me since the coldness seemed to help my nausea a little…I tried a cold bath too (needless to say I couldn’t stay in there too long b/c it was too cold)…I came back to bed and Zach made me a grilled cheese sandwich and tomato soup—I couldn’t eat but a bite :( He brought me crackers and I could only get one down…he was such a great doctor, but nothing was making me feel better…around 10:00 my nausea seemed to go away and I immediately felt 100 times better; I even managed to eat a couple spoonfuls of applesauce before bedtime—I don’t know what exactly was wrong with me but I feel a lot better today…

I hope you all had a better weekend than I did :-)

I'm sorry to hear your mom is still having problems but I know she will get thru this and I'm still saying my prayers. I can't believe you STILL don't have your car back! I didn't have mine for a few hours yesterday and it was killing me! Hope you continue to feel better. Let me know if there's anything you need & Zach can't be there!

Keeping your precious mom in our prayers..as well as you and your hubby :0) I am glad to hear you are feeling better, poor girl - that must have been miserable!!

Where is the fair located at? We moved to the Ft. Worth/Keller area back in June and are looking for fun things to do in the month of October. I am DETERMAINED to make this a FUN month in memory of our sweet baby girl Liberty. She died on Oct. 27th, the day before my b-day..I am desperately seeking Gods strength and peace for this entire month - trying to make it fun and memoriable for our other girls, my hubby and even myself. This fair sounds like it would be something exciting for us to enjoy - depending on where its located I guess! lol

Anyway. We pray for you, your family and this journey God has put you on every single day.

God bless you guys!

Tiffany,
I found your blog through Charla's (www.rcjenkins.blogspot.com) and have been reading here and there for a month or so. I just wanted to say that I'm praying for you guys and your future family. We had a tough time conceiving our first daughter and have suffered two early miscarriages. Fertility is something I think we all take for granted until we try to conceive. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
Also, (referring to your latest entry) I'm praying for your job. It is hard to have to go through times at work that are hurtful. It makes it hard to get motivated to get out that door in the morning.
Lastly, this post reminds me of my migraines. I always feel the exact same way you described. I used to alternate Tylenol and Motrin every 2 hours until I reached the max dosage for the day. But my doctor prescribed Imitrex, and it was life-changing. Another hint would be to use Head On. The commercials are obnoxious, but the product is amazing. It's the only thing that give me any relief (other than an ice pack).
Hang in there, and I'm praying for you!
Alicia
