It’s crazy how fast plans change…
Plan ‘A’ was to TTC natural until we’re ready for IVF…
However, my poor little body is confused—to put it ‘gently’ I’ve had 4 cycles in less than a month and a half…NOT FUN!!! I will not be going to my fertility clinic until we are ready for IVF—however when I called my local OBGYN he called my fertility clinic and spoke to my Dr. about what his thoughts were too.
So off to plan ‘B’…
They both agree that I am ovulating however they said my lining is so thin it keeps shedding before it’s time. Neither wants to start me back ‘heavy’ on fertilities at the time, however both seem to think I need ‘something’ to thicken my lining as well as regulate me. I just knew they were going to put me on birth control again, most of you know how I feel about that! I was not a happy camper to say the least!
Well….they decided that putting me on the lowest dosage of Clomid as well as estrogen (to thicken my lining) will be the answer. We will do this for 3 months straight, then off for three months and repeat until we are able to go back in for the IVF.
Zach and I are still very actively trying, however without being able to time anything we can’t exactly try natural!! Being on the lowest dosage of Clomid might not give us success but it will give us the ability to try!
We have ‘set on the sidelines’ for the majority of 2009. You know that famous line infertility people get on a daily basis “just relax….” Well, we’ve ‘gone and done it’! We tried (on fertility meds) a total of 3 months last year! So for the rest of the 9 months we “just relaxed” and to be 100% honest were a little tired of ‘just relaxing’. Call us crazy, call us weird…but we like to have a plan, we like to have a schedule and we don’t like to ‘not’ try.
We don’t know God’s plan for us, we don’t know if it will end in conceiving on our own, or with IVF or even at all…however we do know that we want to be able to say ‘we tried everything we could’.
Our faith lays in Gods hands and in return he has given us strength and patience to go forward. I do believe we are going down the right path, I don’t want to be naive and say ‘I feel good about this year’…but I truly do! Whether that ‘good’ leads us to a pregnancy or not, I don’t know.
Philippians 4:6 don’t worry about anything: instead, pray for everything. Tell God what you need and thank him for all he ahs done. Then you will experience God’s peace which exceeds anything we can understand.

I understand how you feel!
I hope and pray this is the answer you have been looking for!
The verse you posted says it all. Sometimes it so easy to worry and try to figure out what God's plan is, when sometimes it just requires us asking Him to help us let go and let him work it out. I will be praying that this will be the year that you guys get to be parents!
I was on clomid for a while as well. Good luck with that and I am praying for you guys!!!
So glad you decided to go back and see him. Praying things have changed this time & you just need a little push from our friend Clomid. Love ya!
This is the hardest part. Reading this hurts my heart because I remember being there! SO THERE! And, now I have a most adorable little miracle. With ALL my heart, I believe you will be celebrating Little Pifer's 1st, 2nd, 3rd, ... birthday's before you know it! Much love!!!! I know you have had to sit back and watch so many of us have our babies and it's really your turn!
Praying for you! I hope that 2010 is the year for ya'll!
This is so exciting girl! I love that you're going to be able to start "trying" again with more of a schedule! I have GREAT hope in what lies ahead for you and your family- the Lord has an awesome plan- can't wait to see how it unfolds!
I pray for ya’ll that Plan B will be “THE” plan!!!!!! :)
I'm so glad you have a plan! I hope the Clomid gets you regulated and gets you pregnant. You are such an inspirational person. I love the verse from Phillipians too! Good luck!
I'm glad they seem to feel confident this will help! I was wondering if yall were gonna go back but I was afraid to ask! 2010 needs to be yalls year!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm praying for you sweetie! I hope plan B is it!! Sounds like they are pretty ocnfident it will work! I sure hope so!!
I was on the lowest dose of clomid for 2 months when I got pregnant. The first month was timed and no luck. We just let nature take it's own course the second month and that's when we got pregnant. Good luck!
Love the verse! Just the reminder I needed! Thanks for sharing, and good luck to you and ur fam. xoxox
