Texas Bluebonnets

You know it’s spring in Texas when you are driving down the road and see nothing but fields of ‘blue’…bluebonnets that is; and you can defiantly expect to see many people stopped along the interstate, at the park or in the many fields full of beautiful bluebonnets or Indian paintbrushes.

Bluebonnets are our state flower; I am not sure if it’s just a ‘Texas’ thing or if everyone heads out during spring time to capture pictures in the beautiful flowers.

Well a couple weeks ago, Ashley and her family and Zach and I headed to one of the parks nearby to capture some ‘bluebonnet pictures’…here are some that we took.

I just loved seeing all those pictures on FB. They are all so beautiful!!! You know, on this side of Houston where I live, I never see any bluebonnets. We see Indian paintbrushes, but no bluebonnets. I need to drive around and find some!!

I just have to say that you are absolutely beautiful! Even if those gorgeous flowers weren't there you would still remain breathtaking. Not only have I been praying for you and your husband to have conceive a blessing of your own because I know you would be an incredible mother, now I'm praying for it because there has to be some of those genes passed on for our future generations of beauty queens! lol good luck as always, prayers, baby dust and God bless!!

Very sweet pictures!! There definitely aren't fields of bluebonnets (or any abundance of other flowers, really) in PA for photo shoot opportunities!!
