Calling All Questions...
David Copperfield
Zach, myself, Brett and his wife…it was AMAZING to say the least…these are just a FEW things he did…
*He appeared in an empty box on a motorcycle (how’d he do that?!?!!)
*He did a card trick with a scorpion that was amazing!!!
*He made a CAR appear on stage above people’s heads (WOW…how’d he do that?!!?!)
*He went through a FAN, disappeared out of little box and magically appeared in the audience (how’d he do that?!?!)
*He wadded up a piece of paper (in the audience, about 3 rows away from us) made it FLOAT in the air and dance, then made it into a rose…caught it on fire and it turned into a REAL rose!!! (how’d he do that??!!)
*He made a DUCK go from one place to another on stage!!!!
*He made about 8 audience members go from the stage to seat in the coliseum (WOW!!!)
He did a few more things, but those were my favorites…it wasn’t “just” magic either that made it awesome, it was so funny…I laughed so hard I could have cried!!!! Unfortuantly I don’t have any pics, b/c #1 I left my camera at home and #2 we weren’t allowed to take pics.

Thank You God!!!!
My tubes are STILL UNBLOCKED! I can’t express to you how ecstatic I am. I was really nervous before, and had a tiny breakdown the thought of having surgery again or having only one or no tubes unblocked really hit me and scared me. Thank you all for the prayers, the kind texts, calls and emails…if it wasn’t for you all I wouldn’t have gotten through this. Today was a HUGE day for me, and I thank you all for praying for me to stay strong!
That dye flowed right through my tubes, and it did is fairly fast…I looked up at the guy and said “does that mean there open”…he said “yes mam’ everything looks wonderful” I could have leaned up and gave him a hug!!!!! God is amazing and I know he was with me every step of the way!!!

"While I'm Waiting"
I'm waiting
I'm waiting on You, Lord
And I am hopeful
I'm waiting on You, Lord
Though it is painful
But patiently, I will wait
I will move ahead, bold and confident
Takeing every step in obedience
While I'm waiting
I will serve You
While I'm waiting
I will worship
While I'm waiting
I will not faint
I'll be running the race
Even while I wait
I'm waiting
I'm waiting on You, Lord
And I am peaceful
I'm waiting on You, Lord
Though it's not easy
But faithfully, I will wait
Yes, I will wait
I will serve You while I'm waiting
I will worship while I'm waiting
I will serve You while I'm waiting
I will worship while I'm waiting
I will serve you while I'm waiting
I will worship while I'm waiting on You, Lord
BREAK OVER!!!!
As you know from my previous post, Zach and I were praying my Dr would say we could get off this break and go ahead and get a head start and do the HSG THIS cycle…well our prayers were answered.
I go Monday morning for my HSG, I have to be at the hospital at 12:30; procedure will be at 1:00…we had this procedure done in 07’ only to find out my right tube was blocked and that was taken care of my surgery in Dec. 07’…however since it’s been over a year and we are still not pregnant they want to do this again to make sure my tubes are still unblocked. I guess you could consider this month is still a break cycle in a way, as we will not be on any fertility meds…just an HSG, and next cycle we will start back with fertility meds and IUI (hopefully).
We are extremely excited! I called Zach and he said “I made his day” :) Please say a prayer that my tubes are 100% still unblocked…I don’t want to have surgery again…this procedure makes you extra fertile, so I am hoping and praying my tubes are unblocked and then the next cycle we will do IUI again and have an even better chance of conceiving!!!
Thanks for the prayers!

Can We Cancle This Break??
As most of you know my husband will be having knee surgery in May (not 100% sure on the date yet). Well he called me today and talked about this “break” we are on…I have one more cycle to go, then we would do the HSG, then back on fertilities, and then it should be around May; which we will have to go on a couple month break during that time while he recovers.
I called my Dr today and he is supposed to call me back and let me know if its too late this month to go ahead and get the HSG…we are hoping not, b/c if we can get it done this month, that will give us a little more time since we will be on an “un-expected” break in a couple months. Zach was pretty upset today, he hates these “breaks” just as much as I do…we just don’t feel right “not” trying…we feel like we are destined to be parents…we don’t like the helpless feeling…of course it’s ALL in God’s hands and his hands alone, HOWEVER when you are takeing meds and going to the Dr, you kinda feel like your “boosting” your chances, so being able to do nothing makes it extermly hard at times.
We may not understand why things are happening the way they are, but soon enough we will know…NO matter what our problems may me…big or small, It usually entails a portion of heartache….sometimes it's just a bruise and sometimes it feels like it's shattered into a million pieces, but sometimes it's just God's way of calling us back to him…to make us grow as a person…OR maybe we have to experience this to pave the way for something SO MUCH better!!! Problems will always be a part of life, and at times when were down, when were at our lowest point… I TALK TO GOD! He will enlighten us, clear our confusion, ease our pain, calm our fears, and heal our heart. It's not going to provide us an instant solution to our problems, but God works in MYSTERIOUS ways…and as long as your walk with him, and just trust and believe, the sooner we will get to the place where we will see everything clearly, EVERYTHING happens for a reason, as we might not understand the reason right now…we will when the time is right! I refuse to give up…why? Anyone can give up, it's the easiest thing in the whole world to do, BUT to hold it together when everyone else would understand if you fell apart…that's TRUE strength!! NEVER give up; for that is just the place and time that the tide will turn! With GOD, love and patience nothing is impossible!
This is a small bump in our road, and we won’t let it get in our way! God is amazing…
The Verdict of The MRI
His ACL is torn and so is his meniscus. He will be on crutches for 2 weeks—out of work about a week, and then has to refrain from pretty much doing anything for 4-6 months. It will be an outpatient surgery that will last an hour-2 hours; they will have to take a tendon from his hamstring to replace the torn one in his knee, however if his tendon from his hamstring isn’t sufficient enough then he will have a foreign tendon (donor tendon) put in. He will most likely have this surgery in May-ish; he is to set up the time within the next couple of weeks. It just has to be after April so that I can take off with him.
Please say a prayer that everything goes well, I realize it’s far away, but it’s a little more serious than we suspected, but not “as” serious as it could be—which for that we are very grateful for.
God is amazing, and we know that everything happens for a reason!!

Faith Gets You Through Darkness
I was asked 2 very important things today and I thought I would share those questions as well as my answers.
What gets you through this journey: FAITH!!!!!Faith is the light that guides you through the darkness...we all have darkness, big or little...however if you have faith God will guide you as he is the light that shows us the way...No matter HOW steep the mountain-God will climb it with you!
Why are you so positive:... well first off I REFUSE to dwell on something that is not in my control!!! Being positive helps my Faith, and having Faith helps me stay positive... see Faith is the answer to EVERYTHING. When God test me with something new, of course my first reaction is to cry and say "why God why"...however we can only do our best, and have FAITH that God will do the REST! Everyday I remind myself that God is with me, that he will never fail me, that I can count upon him...whatever his plan, I know I can count on God...and the reason I know I can count on him is due to the FAITH I have in him.
MRI=Completed!!
Well before we walked in of course we both had to take of any jewelry, lock up my purse and all of our other things…when we got in the room she looked at me and said “do you have bobbie pins in your hair”…I didn’t even think of that, I said yes 4, she asked that I take them out b/c if not they will fly out of my hair and towards the machine (Oh my goodness!!!!!) Zach just looked at me like “what am I getting into haha”…they gave me some earplugs and I pulled a chair up near Zach, he had his little ear-muffs on and with the noise of the MRI machine we just stared at each other b/c there wasn’t anyway we could hear each other talk, I looked at a home interior book and would show him pics, he would crinkle his face up if he didn’t like it and smile if he did!!! About 45 minutes later he was all done :o)
Of course we didn’t find anything out last night…he has his appt with the sports and medicine Dr. on Thursday and that is when they will talk about what needs to be done. I asked him that IF he does have to have surgery, if he can ask that it be after April so that I can take off with him (his vacation starts in January, however mine doesn’t start until April)…of course he said YES! However, IF he does have to have surgery, this will put our trying to conceive journey on hold until he recovers…which is fine by me…I just want him to feel better and to be able to move or do certain things without having to worry about his knee popping out of place!
Please keep the prayers going that my husband gets good results Thursday and that if he does have to have surgery it’s minor and not serious. Thank you all, I really appreciate it!

MRI Tomorrow
If you could please say a prayer that it is nothing serious and that he does not have to have surgery, and please pray if he does it's nothing to bad!
Thank you SOOOO much! Ya'll are AMAZING!!!! :)
Valentines Day Weekend
Friday night we drove up to Dallas to stay in the Indigo Hotel, I love that hotel...the atmosphere is so amazing and unlike any other hotel I've ever stayed at. Friday night, Zach and I didn't do too much, we went down to the lobby and hung out a while, then we went up to our room where we got champagne and had ourselves a nice little quiet night talking about everything under the sun that you can possibly think of...
Saturday we woke up and ate breakfast downstairs, then went to the Dallas Aquarium, that place is awesome. I highly suggest going if you are in the Dallas area and esp. if you have kids...I think that is something little children would love. It has this HUGE tunnel that you walk under and you can watch all sorts of sharks and other fish swim over your head!!! It was so much fun...after that Zach and I rode in our shuttle over to an outlet mall, while we were in the shuttle these 2 guys were talking about bands, singers, and all sorts of "tours"...it just so happened that they were tour bus drivers for all sorts of people and right now they were driving around all the "Stars on Ice" contestants, which were all staying in our hotel, however we never got to see them...then after we went to the outlet mall and ate lunch at this really neat pub downtown, we called the shuttle to head back to the hotel to get ready for our fancy dinner that night....well our shuttle driver said, "I hope you don't mind, but I have to pick up Kim Fields and her family real fast"..we said no problem and off we went, little did we know we were about to talk to someone famous. I have never heard of her before, and neither has Zach...however Kim Fields played on Fresh Prince of Bel-air, Living Single, and was "Tootie" from facts of life...well Kim, her husband and little boy got in the van, they told us Happy Valentines Day then we talked about the aquarium and all sorts of stuff, had I realized she was famous or who she was, I probably would have asked for a picture or an autograph...they get out at our hotel, then before we could get out, our diver said... "you know who that is right...thats Kim Fields....she is famous"...so needless to say when we got upstairs I had to "google" her and sure enough we just sat a foot away from her and her family and talked to them for a good 45 minutes and had no idea! PRETTY NEAT!!!
Well after that we went upstairs to start getting ready--Ashley and James came that night and we all went out to eat at Dakotas! It was such an amazing restaurant..when you arrived there, all you see is an elevator...you get in, then go down....(the restaurant is under grown)...there is this huge lit up waterfall in the outside part and the inside is beautiful! The food was excellent, well worth the money we spent!!!! We planed on going on a carriage ride, however since it was Valentines Day they were all booked up, but thats ok...the night was more than amazing and the best Valentines Day ever!!!!!
March of Dimes
As most of you know my God daughter Audree just turned ONE, however some of ya’ll don’t know “her story”…
Around 3:30 in the morning "A" called me and told me she was bleeding, she was 32 weeks pregnant, and after she got off the phone to call the on call Dr, I told Zach “something doesn’t seem right”…she called me back to let me know they were headed to the hospital and Zach and I looked at each other and said “Lets go!”
"A" had a placenta abruption, and they decided due to the blood loss that "A" had, they needed to do an emergency c-section. At 5:57 in the morning Audree Emma was born weighing a whopping 4lbs 13.8 oz and 18.5 inches long. She was rushed to the NICU due to her lungs being so premature, she was in the NICU for around a month, she was on a breathing machine for a little while, then quickly progressed and luckily had no “major” complications other than her body temp staying up and normal preemie things…Audree is a very strong little lady, and she fought through that bumpy path the first month of her life…
However, some little babies aren’t so lucky, some babies have to stay in the NICU for months apon time…some babies don’t ever come home. The March of Dimes is amazing organization which helps to educate those so that these helpless little children who are born early can have the easiest and fastest recovery and can ALL go home.
On April 25, 2009 in Waco TX there will be a 3 mile walk to help the March of Dimes. Sign up for our team, Audree's Allies, and come out and walk with us—below is a link to my March of Dime Page…please don’t feel as though you have to donate money, however just know that if you do it’s going to a great cause! “The money you raise supports programs in your community that help moms have healthy, full-term pregnancies. And it funds research to find answers to the serious problems that threaten our babies. We've been walking since 1970 and have raised an incredible $1.8 billion to benefit all babies. The March of Dimes uses 77 cents of every dollar you raise in March for Babies to support research and programs that help moms have full-term pregnancies and babies begin healthy lives. And your funds are used to bring comfort and information to families whose baby was born too soon, or sick”

My Infertility Prayer For You
For all the women out there who are going through this difficult journey in life, I pray for you everyday...instead of just praying tonight, I decided to "pray out loud"...let you all know the words I pray and I hope and pray that you too will pray this prayer...God is amazing and I truly believe in the power of prayer. Please pass this prayer along and know that God is watching over each and everyone of us!!!
Dear Heavenly Father,
I pray for the woman reading this right now…the women who feel alone. As if no one understands—perhaps she tried and tried to get pregnant and just can’t, perhaps she has been pregnant and had continuous miscarriages, perhaps her husband is sterile, she and her husband may have bodies that function normally and still she can’t get pregnant—perhaps she has lost her womb due to a number of different diseases, she may have something that is unexplained, perhaps she has passed the age for childbearing. Lord, the reason doesn’t really matter as much as the pain does, reminders of this pain can occur morning, noon or night…please comfort my sister Lord….please let her know she is a beautiful woman who is loved by You no matter what the outcome of this situation. Dear Heavenly Father, please give her patience with this situation and the Faith to know that this is solely in your hands and your hands only. Dear God I pray for all the women I have met and all the women in the world suffering through infertility. Lord, please wrap your arms around them and guide them through this bumpy path in life. You God are amazing, and I know that, I trust in you lord and I know that anything is possible with you by my side and in my heart!
In Jesus name I pray,
Amen
