*Mom-still doing the same, still feeling the same…nothing really new to report; just please pray that nothing is growing inside her brain. (If your new you can read here to catch up)
*Poppee-Zach’s grandfather is doing the same. Thank God!!! He has his good and bad days, but thankfully not any worse and still his happy ol’ self :) (If your new you can read here to catch up)
*Zach-we are approaching his knee surgery. He is getting a little nervous, not about the actual surgery, but about the recovery. He drives an oil truck for a living, so his leg/knee is VERY important. Please pray for a smooth surgery and fast and speedy recovery, I will keep you updated as we near May 19th. (If your new you can read here to catch up)
*Fertility stuff-I’m on CD28 (finally had time to count down and figure out where I’m at!!), however I have no clue if I have ovulated for sure, nor do I know when I should expect AF…I’m really not expecting anything to come of this cycle to be quite honest though—it’s all in God’s hands though, so you never know :)
*Mothers day is nearing and I have decided I love/hate this day…I love it b/c I am more than excited to spend it with my mother, and I don’t think I really need to discuss why I hate it. Every year Mothers Day and Fathers Day get harder for us! Please pray that God keeps us strong through this day and that we are able to be positive with no tears :)
*I’ve had several suggestions on fundraisers for us…we are thinking about these and considering these. Come June if we are still not pregnant and we do have to go to a fertility clinic this may very well become a great idea to help us. I pray something wonderful happens before then and it’s not an option, but we are thinking about it, and thank you to the many for the suggestions. And why I am on it, thank you to those that have made a donation to the “Pifer Bean” Fund. You all seize to amaze me, we are so very grateful!!!!
* I have received emails asking about addresses, we have posted a P.O Box on the left side tool bar for those who wish to send cards, letters, etc. Also I have received questions from some asking if I would be offended or sad if they sent us baby stuff, NO. You can ask anyone who knows me in real life, I LOVE looking at baby stuff and honestly I already have some things because I have Faith that we will one day have our “Pifer Bean” that we are praying so hard for. Thank you again for your kind thoughts, we appreciate it more than you will ever know.
* I have received tons of emails wanting to know when and if we will do IVF/Adoption. This is a very touchy subject for my husband and I. We are letting God lead us through this, so when God brings us to this that’s when we will do them. We do know in June we are going to a fertility clinic to see what needs to be done to conceive our “Pifer Bean” and if they tell us IVF or Adoption that’s when we will start saving so that we can do either/or. God has a plan, we know he has something wonderful in store of us; we are trusting in him and letting him guide us through this.
* What fertility clinic will we go to? That’s a tough question and maybe ya’ll can help…there are 2 options. 1st- is in Austin (which is 2-3 hours away) this is the furthest one away; however this one works with my Dr’s office in town. I can get the ultrasounds and so forth right down the road and just travel to Austin for the BIG stuff…then the 2nd is in Temple, this one is about 30-45 minutes away, however this one does not work with our Dr’s office so we would be going to the actual fertility clinic for everything. We are torn, of course the one that works with our Dr’s office seems easier, however the closer one seems more convenient. Were praying God leads us in the right direction.
I think that’s all for now :) Thank you again for all being so wonderful! :)

Angie
Hope the surgery goes well and your continued journey on becoming pregnant!
IF AND I MEAN IF IN A BIG WAY you have to go to the clinic I personally would do the Austin one. Yes I know its further away but they work with the office you are already at. Just my opinion haha also I know you dread mothers day but one day girl it will be the best day of your life I PROMISE! Just think you are a GODMOTHER so your GODDAUGHTER might just surprise you :o) Love ya chicky!! YAY for Saturday
Just stopping by to let you know that we are still praying for you and your husband..and the rest of your precious family!
I will be thinking of you (and your mom) on Mother's Day. Mother's Day is bittersweet for us as well. We will be going to the cemetery to visit our sweet Liberty that day...
You guys are amazing and I love following your blog/life!! :0)
Love and hugs,
Kelly
I somehow missed that you guys are in Texas! I say Austin, it's really not that much farther than Temple (Temple was always my indication that I was on the home stretch from Dallas to Austin) and there's so much more to do in Austin while you're there. Plus if I'm ever in town, I'll surely take you out for cupcakes or Tex-Mex! =)
My advice is probably the least productive, but my prayers are still with you guys through your journey. Especially as fellow Texans!
Thanks for your comment!
I'm definitely praying for y'all and all of your trials, tribulations, and praises :)
God will lead you in the direction that you are supposed to go. However speaking through experience with infertility doctors. "convience" is not always the best thing. I went that route and did not have a good outcome as you know and now that I have chose a new doctor things are beginning to look up alittle. :) praying for you.
Praying that everything goes well!! ((HUGS))
Praying for you and your family!
(((HUGS)))
Praying praying praying for you!
We are continuely praying for you guys!! Love ya-Ash
As a patient of Dr. Vaughn in Austin, I highly recommend him. He is a good Christian man that will put you at ease and not sweet talk you.
I vote for Austin! You don't want to lose your connection with you doctor, definitely. He knows your history and may be the one to deliver that sweet baby that you WILL have!
thanks for all the updates:) continuing to pray for you and Zach during this journey.
Praying for you and God's will for your sweet family and I say family because YOU WILL have a family! :o)
